I always find so many gems online for sale, and I always assume they belong to the person that's selling them, but I may question that now as a Cape Coral woman was arrested for trying to sell someone else's boat on Facebook.

It wasn't that long ago I bought a new vacuum on Facebook Marketplace. It was a very nice lady in Cape Coral and it was like new, so when I saw it was only $30, I had to have it! I went over there, gave her the cash, I took the vacuum home and it works perfect. Not once did I wonder if that vacuum was actually hers to sell. However after hearing this story of a Cape Coral woman taking it upon herself to something that didn't belong to her, I may start to question future purchases.

Cape Coral Woman Arrested For Trying To Sell Someone Else's Boat On Facebook

The situation took place yesterday when police were called to a home in Cape Coral with about someone trespassing on their property. When they arrived, they found 32 year-old Diana Maria Morgenthal Bell in the yard next to a boat. Turns out, she had listed a boat and trailer on Facebook Marketplace for $500. Neither of which belonged to her.

She even went so far as to have a potential buyer show up to that property to look at it. And that buyer was also there when the police showed up. I can't even imagine what they were thinking when the police told them what was going on. And listing it on Facebook wasn't all. According to NBC2, she even faked a bill of sale, forging the actual owner's signature. And it wasn't the first time they had called the police on her for trespassing.

Sounds like the police got there just in time to stop the sale from happening. And Morgenthal was arrested on charges of grand theft, trespassing after warning and falsifying bills of sale.
