Gamblers Nightmare NFL Weekend
We are coming off a gamblers nightmare NFL weekend. Predicting outcomes of NFL games is hard. This past weekend was exceptionally difficult. Don’t believe me? Let us review!
How many of you predicted that the Saints would march into Dallas and blow out the Cowboys by 25 points? Not many. Alvin Kamara scored 4 touchdowns as the Cowboys 16 game home win streak came to an end.
Did you predict the Vikings would beat the 49ers? Maybe. The Vikings seem to have the 49ers number. Minnesota beat them last October too. The tricky part in predicting this game is the 49ers playing without CMC at running back. Anything could have happened but Jordan Mason had another 100 yard day so there was no excuse.
GAMBLERS NIGHTMARE NFL WEEKEND
How about the Raiders going into Baltimore and winning? We didn’t see that one coming, did we? And here is a public service announcement: Stay away from the Rams. They are too banged up to take seriously right now as evidenced by their 41-10 loss at Arizona.
In other NFL anomalies the Commanders scored 21 points without a single touchdown to beat the Giants 21-18. That is right! They kicked 7 field goals to win. And the lowly Patriots came within an overtime field goal of starting the season 2-0! Crazy stuff.
The gamblers nightmare NFL weekend continues tonight. Take a shot at predicting the Monday Night game with the Falcons and Eagles. Philly is favored by 5.5 and the total is 45.5. Plus, do not forget Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins has a dreadful record in prime time under the lights. Or, do forget it. Because, really, who knows at this point?
