If you're like me, you've dreamed of winning the lottery and 1 Floridian is $1 million richer after last night's Mega Millions Drawing.
I try not to get caught up in a fantasy world, but there's no denying the thought of winning the lottery does cross my mind sometimes. I actually had a dream a few weeks ago that I won some crazy amount of money in the lottery and I called my parents to tell them, waking them up in the middle of the night. Of course, when I woke up the next day I took it as a sign and went and bought some scratch-off's. Thankfully I didn't spend too much, because I didn't win even $1. It was a nice idea though, but I wish the dream led to reality that's for sure.
I probably wouldn't even change much if I did win. I love my home and my car, but I think where I'd splurge would be on travel. Every weekend I'd jet off somewhere! I would love to call up some friends and just say "Hey, you're comin'!" I also hate to cook, so I'd hire a private chef too. To never have to make dinner again would be the ultimate luxury for me. After last night's Mega Millions drawing, 1 Floridian will be able to make some fun decisions like that after they won $1 million.
1 Floridian Is $1 Million Richer After Mega Millions Drawing
Last night's Mega Millions drawing made one $800 million winner in Texas with the winning numbers: 1, 2, 16, 26, 66,and a Mega Ball of 6. The jackpot had a cash value of $401.8 million, the 7th largest prize in the history of the game.
California, New York, Washington and Florida all had $1 million winners. The winning ticket in Florida was purchased at Big Boss in Defuniak Springs.
