Sydney Sweeney moving to the Florida Keys would only be the third craziest thing that's happened there this week. Let's take a look at what else is going on in the islands.

Sydney Sweeney Moving

There's no guarantee that Sydney Sweeney moving to the Florida Keys is happening. What we do know is that she bought an amazing $13.5 million mansion in Summerland Key, Florida. The mansion features 19 foot ceilings, an infinity pool with swim up bar, a boat ramp, and 2 boat lifts. Triangular lots on the water are certainly the way to go if you can afford it.

Summerland Key is about halfway between Marathon and Key West. One thing to note, Summerland Key does have it's own small airport, so Sydney doesn't need to make the long drive down Highway 1.

Here's why Sydney Sweeney moving to Florida makes sense. Taxes. She's likely paying that top rate in California at 12.3%. In Florida there's no state income tax. Sydney's career is likely just getting started, so if she starts to pull in some real movie star money moving to Florida would be a smart move.

Drugs Keep Washing Up On The Islands

It's not uncommon for drugs to just "show up" in the water down there, but 2 big finds in a matter of days? 25 keys of cocaine were found on the ocean floor at Key Largo. Several more packages were discovered on the beach in Islamorada. With so much of her property butting up against the water, she may see the occasional square grouper at her seawall.

Russia is Sending Warships

Russia is sending warships to the Caribbean as a "show of force", likely associated with the U.S. aid to Ukraine in that war. The Russian ships will port in Cuba and are expected to remain in the region for the summer. Do they think Sydney Sweeney moving to Florida is happening? I'm guessing the Russians will slow up as they pass Sydney's house trying to catch a peak. Why else would they be there? Sneaky Russians. On a side note, the Russians planning to keep ships in the Caribbean through the summer makes me think they've never heard of hurricanes. They have no idea what may be coming.
