Orlando, Florida is filled with all sorts of thrills. Having a stolen service dog should not be one of them. For one Florida woman, her wild ride wasn't at a theme park. According to FOX35, it was a car theft at the Hilton Garden Inn near SeaWorld. Now, this wasn't your regular stolen car either.

An 18-year-old Florida woman named Emily Modjeski, who was already rocking an ankle monitor by the way.. She decides to level up her game by allegedly swiping an SUV from the hotel parking lot. However, this SUV's has a special passenger inside, a now stolen service dog named Thor.

So, Gloria, Thor's owner, trying to handle her business, leaves Thor in her car running with the AC on, thinking it would be all good. But not this time. Life isn't always that simple, and when she comes back out, gone. The car and dog have vanished into thin air.

Gloria's now freaking out, yelling out for Thor. She must have been frantic. We're talking about a stolen service dog, after all. Well, Gloria did what any concerned dog owner would do. She called 911, because, you know, when in doubt, dial it out.

Stolen Service Dog Found:

Meanwhile, Thor's on his own adventure. He gets ditched at some spot, but luckily, some good Samaritan spots the stolen service dog at the Vista Cay Resort. And finally, the happy reunion happens. Thor and Gloria are back together again!

Now, you might think that's the end of the story, right? Not even close. The police find out that the stolen SUV may be near the convention center. So, they lie low, and wait for the moment, and then it happens! Emily rolls up, thinking she's smooth, but she walks right into their trap.

And just like that, Emily's facing grand theft charges faster than you can say, "Is that Barb from Stranger things?"

But it's not all bad news. Thor might've had a rough ride, getting a bit too toasty under that Florida sun, but he's a trooper. He's just stoked to see Gloria again, wagging his tail like there's no tomorrow.

So, here's to Thor, the now recovered, (thankfully) stolen service dog. And to Gloria, who got her best bud back. As for Emily? Well, let's just say she might want to keep the Orlando joyrides to the theme parks.

Going on a family vacation is something we look forward to for many months leading up to.  Lots of families here in Southwest Florida look forward to spending time away at one of the many theme parks we have here in the Sunshine State.

Tampa is only a couple of hours away from us in Fort Myers and Orlando just about an hour longer.  From Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Disney World and Sea World, the choices are endless.

There is however one downside to these fun family vacations or trips.  What do you do with your furry friends?  Sure, there are plenty of pet friendly hotels across the state, but what will they do all day?  Most times when visiting theme parks you're there for the majority of the day.  Your pup will get hungry and restless and have to go potty long before your day at the park is done.

While it would be nice to strap a leash on them and take them along, that's just not an option, or very realistic.  Imagine all the accidents that could happen with an endless number of pets in the parks?

But, there is another option, according to Go Pet Friendly.  Did you know some of the largest and most frequented parks in Florida offer day care?  And a couple of these parks will actually allow your pets inside.

Let's take a look at the options you might have for your pets while you enjoy the park with family and have peace of mind knowing your pet is having fun too!
