Taylor Swift was already one of the biggest artists in the world, then she released 'The Tortured Poets Department." Now it's nearly impossible to get through a single day without hearing about her. We all love her, but which "era" of Taylor Swift is your favorite? It's interesting to know that Florida's favorite Taylor Swift album isn't the newest one. Or the one before that. Or before that. Or even before that. Florida's favorite goes way back.
The folks at Betway analyzed search volume data from the past 12 months to see which Taylor Swift album was searched for the most. “The Tortured Poets Department” emerged as the favorite in 15 states. California and New York preferred "Lover", but here in Florida we still search for Taylor's country side. Her debut album "Taylor Swift" was the most searched for here in the Sunshine State.

For those of you who are more recent Taylor Swift fans, the OG album is absolute fire. It's my favorite Taylor Swift album as well. These are songs she wrote in high school about real situations and real relationships she was dealing with as she was growing up. It's interesting that Taylor wrote "Our Song" for her freshman year of high school talent show and had no intentions of including it on the album. It was the last song on her debut album yet became her first number one. "Play it again".
It's also the songs that Taylor was touring on when she played the Lehigh Acres Spring Fest back in 2007. Remember that?

I know the whole story behind the "Taylor's Version" re-release of this and many of her other albums. I'm bucking the trend here and saying you should always listen to the original version of this album. Although the music tracks are near identical, it's Taylor's vocals that couldn't be duplicated. She was an excited - and terrified - teenager when she sang those songs in the studio and you can hear it when she sang. Her original vocals on songs like 'Tim McGraw' and especially 'Our Song' are just magical. If you haven't lately, go back and listen to her first (and original album) in its entirety.
