Everything you need to know about the men's college basketball national championship game tonight is right here.   First of all, Connecticut, or UConn as we like to call them, plays the Purdue Boilermakers.  Tip off is scheduled for 9:20pm eastern time so take a nap when you get home from work.  The game will air on TBS on TV and on ESPN Southwest Florida on the radio.

Connecticut is the defending champion after defeating Sand Diego State last year.  This is the Boilermakers first appearance in a national final since 1969 and this was their first appearance in the Final Four since 1980.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 7 FOOTERS!

Both teams feature 7 foot players.  Donovan Clingan stands at 7 feet, two inches and anchors the UConn offense.  He will be facing 7 foot 4 inch center Zach Edey who is the two time National Player of the year.  Clingan is a better athlete and better shooter and he is moving up the projected NBA draft boards.  Edey is an almost flawless force in the paint for the Boilers.

A match up of 7 foot titans reminds me of the good old days when showcasing a big man in the middle was a necessity.  It seems those days were long gone until this year.

So sit back and enjoy the game but before tonight's tip off enjoy a little national championship trivia on Craig Shemon and Company!  Good Luck!
