One of my favorite spots in Cape Coral has got to be Chick-fil-A. I mean, it's practically sacred to me. I love a twelve count and some waffle fries. It's the best. Look, we know it's special when they're closed on Sundays. That's how you know you have to savor every bite during the rest of the week, unlike our buddy Anthony Joseph Pellegrino from Pinellas County. This guy crossed the line man.
According to Fox35, last Saturday in Seminole, Anthony gets into it with some lady in traffic. It was another case of Road rage. Let's face it. Sometimes the Florida man just can't seem to keep it together in traffic. Classic Florida man stuff, right? It was more than just screaming too. Because next thing we know, our guy decides to take his anger out by chucking a Chick-fil-A drink right at this poor woman's face! Like, seriously? He tosses that drink like he's gonna get a refill on a Sunday! So then, this lady pulls over and tries to snap a pic of Anthony's license plate. Maybe for the assault or maybe for misusing a delicious Chick-fil-A beverage, who knows?
But wait, it gets a lot worse. Allegedly, Anthony completely loses it and straight-up punches this woman in the face! Boom! Cut her lip and everything. This guy's got zero chill, man. Well, unless he's sipping on one of those icy Oreo Shakes. Those things are awesome. But seriously, have some respect!
And get this, it ain't Anthony's first rodeo with the law. He's been in trouble since '98, with battery charges and all. Guess he missed out on his Honesty Family Values watch from at Chick-fil-A that year. Now, he's looking at a felony battery charge. Maybe he'll finally learn not to mess with women or waste perfectly good fast-food cups.
10 Hot Spots For Chicken Wings In Fort Myers
If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. There is a national holiday for just about everything nowadays.
According to National Day Calendar it's time to honor the chicken wing because National Chicken Wing Day is on July 29th.
How fitting it falls on a Saturday this year. I just wish we had some football to watch, to go along with the wings.
Anyway, with the day quickly approaching, I thought I'd find out where we can find the best chicken wings in Fort Myers. So, I enlisted the help of the friendly folks over at Yelp!
As most of us know, Yelp uses customer reviews and ratings to determine their rankings in a given location. While I do agree this list is full of some delicious wings, two of my favorites aren't included and I refuse to leave them out.
Of course, Hooter's is my number one! I have yet to find wings I prefer over these breaded bites of joy, covered in the hot sauce, nothing is better. And my second favorite, also not on the Yelp list, are the wings at Pott's Sports Cafe, extra crispy, hot, to die for.
Enough about my favorites (although you should listen to me), here are 10 hot spots for chicken wings in Fort Myers.
Next up we can debate ranch vs blue cheese 😉
