We are at crunch time in the NFL season. The 49ers and Ravens look really good right now. The Cowboys used to look good until they didn’t. And does anyone want to play the Bills if they get in the playoffs? The Lions have found their winning ways again. And regarding the Florida teams, all three are in first place. The Dolphins look good. The Bucs are improving each week. And the Jags are struggling. Here’s the Power Rankings for Week 16:

32. PANTHERS – Doubled win total.

31. PATRIOTS – Nightmare will be over in 3 weeks.

30. CARDS – Why bother?

29. COMMANDERS – Meh.

28. JETS- Blanked.

27. GIANTS- Tank for a left tackle in the draft.

26. TITANS –Did you like those Oilers uniforms?

25. CHARGERS- Waiting for 2024.

24. BEARS – Two Fail Mary’s.

23. RAIDERS – How do you go from zero to 63 points in one week?

22. PACKERS – Lambeau has lost its magic.

21. FALCONS –Yuk.

20. BRONCOS – Coach and QB dislike each other.

19. SAINTS- Bad division. Still alive.

18. STEELERS – This feels over.

17. BUCS- First. Place.

16. TEXANS – Won another one. This time without CJ Stroud.

15. COLTS – Fantastic comeback/ beat down of the Steelers.

14. VIKINGS- OT loss at Cincy was a gut punch.

13. SEAHAWKS – Trying to squeeze into post season. Nice win vs Philly.

12. RAMS – Getting hot at the right time. This is a Wild Card team.

11. BENGALS- Tee Higgins catch was better than OBJ catch!

10. JAGS – This team has lost 3 in a row at the wrong time.

9. BROWNS -You know what? Why not?

8. COWBOYS – Just when you think they are great, then you don’t.

7. BILLS- Bullied the Cowboys.

6. CHIEFS – Still good. But something is missing.

5. EAGLES- 3rd loss in a row concerning. But still a 10 win team.

4. LIONS- Back to their winning ways.

3. DOLPHINS- No Tyreek, no problem.

2. RAVENS – Remember “experts” said Lamar Jackson should play WR?

1. 49ERS- Clicking on all cylinders now.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up for our first annual Jingle Jog 5K and Santa Strut Fun Run presented by My Shower Door and hosted by Beasley Media Group and Southern Timing. The run took place through the scenic pathways at Lakes Regional Park in Fort Myers. We had participants from all over Southwest Florida. One runner was even rumored to have jogged across the bridge from Cape Coral to join the race. That is commitment. Or perhaps crazy, at least to non-runners. Here are some photos from the First Annual Jingle Jog And Santa Strut.

Runners began gathering at 7:30, many dressed in festive holiday gear. Not only did we have an elf but also Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up. They congratulated and offered up high-fives to runners as they crossed the finish line, helped hand out the medals and posed for photos before heading back to the North Pole.

A portion of the proceeds from the race go to benefit Golisano Children's Hospital. It was nice to see so many kids participate in the race with their parents and on their own. Besides running with the human kids, one participant ran with her four legged child and both finished in flying colors.

Thank you to My Shower Door for being our title sponsor. In addition, The Good Feet Store, Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, Signs In One Day, Florida Blue, and Bikram Yoga Fort Myers joined in as corporate sponsors.

Packet pick up was sponsored by Fleet Feet, Fort Myers. Last, but certainly not least, big thanks to Brew Box Coffee Company for fueling us with piping hot coffee and hot chocolate. It was a cool, damp start to the morning. We could not have done it without all of your help. And, we can't wait to do it again next year.
