History Of The VW Bus
In addition to VW Buses being one of the most unique-looking vehicles in history, they are perhaps the most creative. Although they are commonly affiliated with the 70's or even Woodstock, the VW Bus history dates back to the late 1940s.
Red Mountain Funding published a detailed history of the VW Bus. Here, they explain the original sketches showing the evolution of the vehicle. "No matter what the model name, however, the VW Bus remained instantly recognizable among a sea of boxy, imposing American muscle cars, and its reputation as a 'hippie van' or 'beach-mobile' only grew," Red Mountain Funding says.

It's never too early to start planning an exciting winter getaway, especially since the most popular winter vacation spots get booked up quickly. The good news, though, is that most people take vacations in the summer, so traveling in the winter can be a bit more relaxing.
