Fort Myers Krispy Kreme Offering Pumpkin Spice Doggie Doughnuts
It’s officially pumpkin spice season and Krispy Kreme in Fort Myers is offering pumpkin spice doggie doughnuts.
Even though it doesn’t feel like fall here in Southwest Florida, pumpkin spice season is here. Coffee shops in Fort Myers have rolled out their seasonal drinks. And at Krispy Kreme there’s fall flavored doughnuts for not only humans, but for pups too.
Starting this Saturday, August 26, to celebrate National Dog Day, pumpkin spice lovers can pick something up for themselves and for their four-legged friends. The doughnut chain will be rolling out their new Pup’kin Spice Doggie Doughnuts. They look like the varieties we know and love, but these handmade doughnut-shaped biscuits are made especially for dogs and will be available through August 31. Each treat is made with ingredients like pumpkin, peanut butter and carob.
According to a press release, the new doggie doughnuts come in a six-count box and include the Pup’kin Spice Original Glazed®, Pup’kin Spice Cake, Pup’kin Spice Maple Peanut and Pup’kin Spice Cheesecake Swirl. Dave Skena is the Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme. He said “Dogs add so much to our lives, so for National Dog Day we’ve upped our game for you to give them the awesome treat they deserve. We know you love our Pumpkin Spice and now it’s time for dogs to get in on the action. We’re pawsitive (groan) your dogs will love them.”
