Alligator Sighting: Unusual Passenger Left Florida Commuters Astonished
It’s really happening. According to News Week, some shocked Florida commuters made quite the Alligator sighting recently. They saw a gator stretched out beneath a bus stop sign, catching some Z’s. Sheesh! Now, that’s the kind of hitchhiker you don’t see every day. Can you imagine being that gator’s seatmate on the bus? Good luck making small talk with him!
You’ve got to hand it to GoPasco County Public Transportation. They know just how to make gator encounters a laughing matter. I mean, it’s better than their usual announcements about delays, right?
Here in Florida we’re like an alligator paradise. We’ve got more gators than Instagram has selfies. Our reptilian rock stars like to roam around freshwater lakes, ponds, and swamps like they own the place. They occasionally love to take a tour through some residential neighborhoods too. But don’t worry, they’re just looking for a bite to eat or a mate… I know that doesn’t make you feel any better.
Now, if you’re worried about becoming the next menu item on a gator’s list, listen up. If you see one of these toothy creatures in your area, keep your distance and keep your pets on a leash. Trust me; you don’t want your Chihuahua to end up as an unexpected gator snack. And whatever you do, don’t try to feed them. The last thing we need is gators on a fast-food binge.
But don’t worry too much. Alligator encounters are pretty rare. Well, at least most of the time. I mean, it’s Florida, where weird stuff happens every day. You could be walking your dog in a minding your business, and suddenly come face-to-face with a gator looking for a citizen snack. But, it’s proprobly fine.
So, the next time you’re waiting for the bus in Pasco County, keep an eye out for our giant reptile friends. They might just be on their way to the beach or maybe just a bite to eat.
