Party With Your Pets At Coconut Point

Cute dog on a leash
Coconut Point Mall

Does your pet have any neat tricks? You might want to put him or her in the car and head to Coconut Point in Estero Wednesday, June 14th, for Paws For The Night. It's a big party with your pets at Coconut Mall from 6 to  8 with Lee Count Domestic Animal Services. It's not just a pet party but also an adoption event. If you have been thinking about adding a fury friend to you home, make plans to stop by. The event is also a fund raiser to support the programs at the shelter.

There will be live music, vendors, food, drink and more. A special "selfie" area is available for you to take photos with your pets. However, the best part (besides the adoptions) is all of the pet competitions that are planned for the night. All kinds of prizes are being handed out for things such as best tail wagging. If your dog knows a good trick, first and second place prizes are handed out for both of those categories.

In addition, tomorrow is also flag day. To celebrate that day as well, if you dress your pet up in red, white and blue, you might win something. There is a costume contest for Most Patriotic Pup. Finally, a contest is scheduled for best pet and owner duos. These are always fun to watch.
