Walt Disney World just announced a water park ticket deal for Florida residents.
We all know that going to theme parks in Orlando can get expensive, but there is a way to save some money at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon just by being a Florida resident. Right now, the water park is offering a two-day ticket for the price of a one-day ticket. There are two different ticket options. One is $69 and valid from April 18-June 30. The other is $64 and valid from April 18-May 27. Prices for children's tickets are a little less. And you can use these tickets two days in a row or split it up.
Right now, Disney's Blizzard Beach is closed for refurbishment, so the tickets will only be able to be used at Typhoon Lagoon.
I went to Typhoon Lagoon last year for the first time and had a blast! I can't wait to go again this summer, and will definitely take advantage of this ticket deal, you can't beat it! Typhoon Lagoon is home to North America's largest wave pool, an awesome lazy river and slides providing all the thrills. There's bars and snack shacks throughout the park with cabanas and umbrellas available for purchase as well.
There's also an after-hours event called H20 Glow. It's a 3-hour event that does require a separate ticket. You can enjoy shorter wait times, entertainment, free ice cream, soda and popcorn and lots of fun under the lights.
