Orli Gottesman, a 17-year old junior at Cypress Lake High School in Ft. Myers, appeared on ‘Yellowstone’, in the latest episode, as character Carter’s love interest.
In an interview with Charles Runnels from The News-Press, Gottesman said “‘Yellowstone,’ it’s kind of a mature show. So people my age don’t watch it. I tell them that I’m gonna be on it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, I’ll get right on that.”
Gottesman played the part of teenager Halie on the episode, titled “Cigarettes, Whiskey, a Meadow and Fog” that aired last night (December 11th) on the Paramount Network.
According to Newsweek, she auditioned for the part of Halie in July and was already filming in Montana by August.
How cool is this? A hometown girl from right here in Ft. Myers making her dreams come true. And with Kevin Costner too! He’s an icon. I don’t watch Yellowstone, but I think I might have to see what all the fuss is about.
