Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey
Hollywood is broken. There are very few new ideas coming out of the movie industry these days, but we’ve just hit rock bottom. The new Winnie the Pooh movie trailer has been released, and it is something. Just look at the title; Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Christopher Robin returns to the Hundred Acre Woods to find that Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eyor, and the rest of the characters have turned evil! Check out the trailer here.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey – A Taste for Blood
So, somewhere along the way all of the cuddly friends we all grew up watching got a taste for blood… AND THEY LOVED IT! I’ve got to admit that the concept is nothing short of ridiculous. However, upon further review this might have some potential of being a decently scary movie. I am not a big scary movie guy, but this trailer got me interested. This might be a good movie, but it also might open up a whole can of worms.
The Possibilities
Can you imaging the Teletubbies turning into our new generations Freddy Krugar? How about Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all grown up and turning into some Disney version of The Hills Have Eyes? And you know Nickelodeon will want in on this. They would bring back Arnold from Hey Arnold! and turn him into Jason. You get my point here. This one might be okay, or even good. But if it turns a profit, those in charge in Hollywood will want a piece of the pie.
It’s Corny
Back to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. The words “GET OUT” written in blood on the window is very corny. The group of hot chicks going to a remote location that randomly has a hot tub that is working flawlessly after years of not being used is a tried and true formula for scary movies. It will most likely fall flat on it’s face at the box office. But if it does turn out to be a good movie, we are going to get at least 2 of our childhood friends turning evil every year.
