We all know that Tom Brady is super rich, and I'm sure you've thought about what you would buy if you were making that kind of cash, but have you ever thought about how long it would take Tom Brady to make what you make?
There's an online calculator created by BetSperts that puts some of top paid athletes up against the average American to see just how long, or how short, it would take them to make our salaries.
I looked at a few different athletes at different levels and let's just say..oof. I need to learn how to play a sport, and quick.
If you make $30,000 per year, it would take Tom Brady just 3 hours and 7 mins. In fact, just in 30 seconds after I typed it in, Brady would have made $156.94. He earns $83.9 million per year, so if you break it down, it's just over $9500 per hour.
If you make $54,000 which is close to the average Floridian's salary, I hate to tell you that it would take Lebron James just 3 hours and 54 minutes. Lebron earns $121.2 million per year which breaks down to about $332,055 per day.
What about if you make $100,000 per year? Well, this should make you feel a little better as Steph Curry will have to put in a full day of work, 9 hours and 26 mins to earn that.
While a tad depressing, still kinda fun to play with. Now I'm off to work on my dribbling skills..and try to figure out how to grow another foot overnight.
