Rob Zombie’s ‘Munsters’ Reboot Film Premiering on Netflix

Rob Zombie's 'The Munsters'

Rob Zombie's reboot film of The Munsters will be premiering on Netflix this fall.

Zombie, who wrote and directed the reboot, shared the news via Instagram and pointed out that around the same time, Tim Burton's Addams Family series Wednesday will also be hitting the streaming service.

"This fall we are gonna spook-out like it’s 1964!" wrote Zombie. "Yep, THE MUNSTERS and THE ADDAMS FAMILY are returning to the boob tube at the same time courtesy of @netflix. It’s been 58 years since this clash of the titans first happened. Perfect entertainment for your pumpkin carving party."

Earlier this month, Zombie shared the trailer to his Munsters reboot film, which highlights the early beginnings of Herman Munster (Jeff Daniel Phillips) and Lily Munster's (Sheri Moon Zombie) relationship and will chronicle the Munsters' move from Transylvania to the suburbs of the United States with Grandpa Munster (Daniel Roebuck.)

The Munsters will hit Netflix in September, however, an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
