Miami Police responded to a call to an apartment building at 210 NW 16th St. A Miami Florida man picked up a pizza and was riding his scooter to his friends apartment. As he was climbing the stairs to his friend's second floor apartment, he navigated around 29 year old Markevius Xzavier Jackson, who was sleeping on the stairwell. That's when Markevius woke up. The victim headed back down the stairs. According to Local 10, "Jackson demanded that the victim hand over the pizza to him and grabbed a broomstick as he “aggressively approached the victim.” The victim set the pizza on his scooter and ran off. Markevius took a slice and tried a bite. Apparently not to his liking the Florida Man threw the pizza to the ground.
When police showed up, Markevius tried to run but police caught him and arrested him.
I can see some of this. A lot of the pizza in Miami is garbage. Plus, if he's bringing it over on a scooter, the pie was probably dead cold before he got there. Cold pizza can be really good if it was good to start with. But bad pizza that's now cold. Yeah, that's no bueno.
