Final: LPGA Drive On Championship at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club Fort Myers

The LPGA was back in town this weekend, this time at the Crown Colony Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers for the LPGA Drive On Championship. I wonder if the plan was to finish up on Saturday and then a little quality time Sunday on Fort Myers Beach, that’d be tough to pass up considering what the weather is up north. The course is just down the road from the beach. Now, parking at the beach can be a bit hairy but here's a locals secret.... park under the bridge in the Doc Ford's area (not at Doc Fords) and walk across the bridge to Times Square. Free parking. Actually, just go have dinner at Doc Ford's. That place is amazing.

Back to golf. Leona Maguire of Ireland won by three strokes today with a -18. Americans Lexi Thompson and Sara Schmelzel finished second and third respectively with -15 and -14. Here's the full leaderboard: LPGA
