If you've ever dreamed of owning an NFL team, now is your chance, as the Green Bay Packers are offering a chance to purchase stock in the franchise.
The team will be selling 300,000 shares of stock at $300 each. The sale will total $90 million which will go towards construction projects at Lambeau Field.
This is only the 6th time in franchise history that the Packers have sold stock in the team, the last time being in 2011.
If you do want to buy stock in the Packers, while you will technically be part owner of the team, don't think that you'll have any input in any team decisions, however you will get an invite to the shareholder's annual meeting. The shares also don't appreciate in value, don't pay out dividends and can't be traded.
The current stock sale will go through February 22, 2022 or until all 300,000 shares are sold.
