Boomshakalakah! A new documentary is in the works about the classic video game NBA Jam.

BestCross Studios are producing the documentary, which will be based on a book that chronicled the history of the game.

1993's NBA Jam went on to make more than $1 billion in quarters at the arcades and had plenty of famous fans, including Michael Jordan.

Jordan would eventually have the makers of the game create a special version for him that featured his likeness, since it could not be used in the original game.
