With COVID-19 vaccines nearing approval, the NBA is working on its own vaccine policy.

Per ESPN, commissioner Adam Silver has been in discussion with teams, players, agents, and league executives on how to handle the process.

Issues include whether or not a vaccination will be mandatory, and educating players on different vaccines and possible side effects.

The league is also discussing how quickly it can begin distributing vaccines, or what to do if some teams are able to acquire vaccines sooner than other teams.
