Black Friday in October: Amazon, Best Buy, Target Announce Sales This Weekend
What's better than Christmas in July? Black Friday in October! That's right, some of the nation's largest retailers will begin rolling out Black Friday sales this weekend.
Best Buy is the latest retailer to join Target, Amazon, and Walmart in announcing holiday deals typically found after Thanksgiving on October 13 and 14.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, most large retailers are going dark on Black Friday. These early deals are meant to accommodate social distancing, minimize long lines and crowded malls.
Target
Target Deal Days will kick off for a two-day event on October 13 and 14 with "thousands of deep discounts" across electronics, home, essentials, toys, beauty, and more. There will also be Black Friday pricing throughout November and an extended price-match policy.
Amazon
Amazon Prime Day is an annual deal event just for Prime members on Oct. 13-14. The online retailer is boasting about incredible savings on products from small businesses & top brands.
Best Buy
Best Buy shoppers can get dozens of deals straight from the not-yet-released Black Friday ad on October 13 and 14– including one of the most anticipated deals of the season: a 70-inch Samsung 4K Smart TV for just $529.99, according to Business Wire.
Walmart
The nation’s largest retailer, Walmart, will launch its “Big Save Event” on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. The sale will include discounts on Smart TVs, robotic vacuum cleaners, and Hunter rain boots. It will run through Oct. 15.
