Two-time All-Star, championship-winning GM, and longtime MLB executive Bob Watson has died at the age of 74 after battling kidney disease.
Watson played 19 years in the big leagues, making two All-Star teams with the Astros. He was later served as GM of the Astros and Yankees, where he won a World Series title in 1996.
He later served as an MLB executive until 2010.
Watson is known for two other famous moments - he scored the one-millionth run in MLB history in 1975, and later became famous for his cameo in The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training, shouting "Hey c'mon, let the kids play!"
