SWFL Crime Stoppers Searching For Man Who Jumped Inside Bass Pro Fish Tank

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is searching for the man who is accused of jumping inside a large fish aquarium at Bass Pro Shops in Estero.

A video circling social media reportedly shows Daniel Armendariz, 27, jumping into the large fish aquarium, exiting the tank, and then running out the store fleeing in a silver sedan.

The incident will cost Bass Pro Shops approximately $3,000 to decontaminate the aquarium for the safety of the marine life and fish species, according to investigators.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Armendariz is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
