In an effort to get an idea of the number of people exposed to the coronavirus, MLB employees lined up to be tested for antibodies.

Turns out, less than one percent of players and workers in the 26 clubs that participated tested positive.

The results were somewhat surprising to Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford University, one of the study's leaders, who admitted, "I was expecting a little bit of a higher number."

While the numbers were low, Bhattacharya says not to draw wider conclusions, adding, "This is a special population. It's not representative of the American population at large."
