Following remarks made by Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Donald Trump announced that sports will be able to return so long as the stadiums and arenas remain empty at first.

Speaking to reporters Thursday, Trump revealed that attendance would need to slowly build.

"Many of them are gonna be starting without the fans, so it'll be made for television. The good old days, made for television," adding, "And it'll go that way, and then the fans will start coming in, maybe they'll be separated by two seats. And then ultimately, we want to have packed arenas."

Taking the advice of the president and health experts, the PGA will kick off its golf tournaments without spectators in June.
