MLB Cuts Senior Staff Pay By 35 Percent
MLB is making some cuts in response to the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The league is reportedly cutting senior staff salaries by 35 percent for this year but has guaranteed paychecks to all full-time employees through the end of May.
While the league is considering several options for how to handle the delayed 2020 season, commissioner Rob Manfred said this week they won’t start up again until “public health officials agree that it is appropriate.”
