Publix has decided to install plexiglass partitions at their registers to keep employees safer during the outbreak of the coronavirus, according to WTSP.

These partitions are set to be installed this weekend at 1,200 Publix locations.

They will be set up at all registers, customer service desks, and pharmacies.

The installations should be finished in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for these new safety precautions that businesses are taking.

As a growing number of areas in the country considered "stay-at-home" orders, supermarkets will be unaffected because they're considered "essential," providing the necessary nourishment to families.
