The YMCA Offers Free Online Classes To Keep Us In Shape
The YMCA is doing their part to keep us all in shape during our home quarantine due to COVID-19. They just announced 60 free online exercise classes and youth programs to — as the press release states — “support the health and well-being of the community.”
Among the classes offered are a boot camp, barre, yoga, weightlifting, boxing, Tai Chi and more. You can check out the videos here.
The YMCA closed all of its branches starting Monday due to the coronavirus outbreak.
They plan to release more classes for adults, spiritual and emotional support videos and programs for kids throughout March and April.
Live classes will also be held on the Y’s social media accounts.
The YMCA 360 project is a collaboration between the Greater Wichita YMCA, YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties, YMCA of Greater Houston, YMCA of Greater Charlotte and YMCA Twin Cities.
