St Patrick’s Day: Easy Drink Recipes You Can Make At Home

According to Today, St Patrick's Day began as a religious holiday to honor St. Patrick. "St. Patrick was born in Britain at the end of the 4th century. After enduring various trials, his mission became teaching people of Ireland about Christianity until his death on March 17, 461." Over time it has become a day for celebrating all these related to Irish culture. And let's be real, it's also a day where people drink a lot of Irish alcohol.
If you want to try to make some of those beverages at home, here are some recipes:
Irish Mule
The Irish mule is a play on the trendy Moscow Mule beverage that is usually made with vodka. The ingredients include Irish whiskey, ginger beer, lime, and an optional copper mug.
St. Patrick's Day Jungle Juice
Jungle Juice is a go-to at parties where people want to turn it up a notch, and this recipe of Jungle Juice is no exception. This particular recipe doesn't include Irish liquor, but it is green and tasty. It also had a lot of fruit, which makes it healthy, right?
Emerald Isle
This drink is excellent for pairing with an Irish meal. Or, you can simply have it as a meal. It includes Jameson, Guinness reduction, simple syrup, and lemon.
Irish Coffee
Irish coffee is one of the more popular drinks with Irish whiskey, mainly because it tastes great, and it's easy to make. Also, Irish coffee has very few ingredients; you will only need Jameson (or any Irish whiskey), coffee, and cream. The recipe below is fancy. If you don't wanna be fancy, just mix the three ingredients together and chug.
Irish Car Bomb
If you've ever partied at a bar on St Patrick's Day, you know that the Irish Car Bomb is very popular. It's a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream, mixed with Irish whiskey, and its dropped into a pint of Guinness. It's a way to get a taste of three Irish liquors at once. But always remember: drink it fast, or it will curdle.
Grasshopper
Grasshoppers are very underrated these days, but they're green, fun, and taste good. This recipe calls for green Creme De Menthe, Cream De Cacao, cream, and a sweet tooth. Cheers!
