Gretzky Says Hockey Fights Are Disappearing
Wayne Gretzky believes hockey fights are going the way of the dinosaur.
The hockey legend told TMZ that fighting is “kind of out of hockey now” and “not really part of our game anymore”.
While fights still happen “now and then”, Gretzy says it’s been cleaned out of minor league, junior, and college hockey and that “kids grow up now and nobody fights”.
Is it a good thing or bad thing that hockey sees fewer fights now? What other ways has hockey evolved since Gretzky’s time?
