San Antonio Spurs Star Spent All-Star Break In Australia Donating To Bushfire Affected Communities
Instead of vacationing during the All-Star break, Patty Mills opted to head home to Australia, spending his time helping out those ravaged by the bushfires.
The San Antonio Spurs star and his wife visited several areas in New South Wales, which he notes was “massively affected by the wildfires.”
In addition to “[giving] back to locals who have lost their homes, businesses, and schools,” Mills pitched in to bring clean drinking water to an Aboriginal community.
Recently, in a partnership with the NBA and the NBA Players Association, those in the league who hail from down under donated $1 million to the bushfire relief efforts.
We need more passionate and dedicated volunteers like Kevin and Lorita to care for our wildlife.

Generators, torches, portable stoves, batteries, water, non-perishables: In addition to funds, these are some of the items that the impacted communities need. Now, more than ever, these people need our business. Support local.
