Indians starter Mike Clevinger will undergo knee surgery after suffering an injury during a spring training workout.

Clevinger was injured Wednesday and diagnosed with a partially torn meniscus. The Indians have not given a timetable for his recovery.

The 29-year-old Clevinger has won 38 games over the last two seasons and will be an important part of an Indians rotation that no longer has Corey Kluber.
