It's the most wonderful time of the year! If you're in search of a local Christmas experiences that will put you and your loved ones in the holiday spirit, you're in luck. We've listed five holiday happenings that will surely add sparkle to your season.

1. Music and Snow on Third Street

Downtown Naples is spreading Christmas Cheer on Thursday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Dec. 26 with live music and snowfall on Third Street South. Musicians will take turns playing the classics from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Fleischmann Courtyard. Don't forget to bundle up because snow is expected at 7 p.m. For more information, click here. 

2. Marco Island Christmas Boat Parade

There's nothing better than a parade during the holiday season... or is there? The Marco Island Christmas Boat Parade is the perfect way to enjoy the celebrate Christmas with a Florida twist. This free event will take place on Sat. Dec. 21 from 6-9 p.m. and includes countless decorated vessels that will make their way up and down the Marco river. For more information, click here. 

3. Holiday Boat-A-Long in Cape Coral

The fun on the water doesn't stop in Marco Island. cape Coral will host its own Holiday Boat-A-Long on Sat. Dec. 21 from 4-10 p.m. at Four Freedoms Park. The festival will include food, Christmas music, and a visit from Santa Claus along with the parade. For more information, click here. 

4. Holiday Nights at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates

Thousands of lights and a myriad of historic decorations await guests at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates this holiday season. This unique experience takes place every night from 5:30-9 p.m. and includes new decoration, live music, food, crafts, inside the home tours and more. For more information, click here.

5. Night Lights in the Garden

Take a stroll through the Naples Botanical Garden and enjoy the annual lighted extravaganza. Guests can sample specialty menu items from the Garden’s own Fogg Café and sip on a signature cocktail. There will be live music every evening including performances from the Opera Naples Youth Chorus, Naples Ballet, and a selection of talented artists from Artis—Naples.
