11:30am update:
The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down this morning around 6:47 a.m. Damaging at least 18 homes.
The tornado was classified as an EF-1 with estimated peak winds at 95 miles per hour.
No injuries have been reported.

Earlier Saturday morning, a roof was blown off of a Cape Coral home during severe storms.
Cape Coral Fire Department released the following statement on Facebook this morning.
"The Cape Coral Fire Department and other partner agencies are working a significant weather event in Northwest Cape Coral in the Van Buren/Coral Oaks area this morning. So far there are no reports of any injuries but there are structures and vehicles with damage. Please avoid the area if at all possible."
Residents are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
