Does Minkah Fitzpatrick realize he is part of the Dolphins rebuild?

Miami Dolphins

Last week: Lost 59-10 to Baltimore. I would put this team at 33 if I could… it was that bad.

The Dolphins have traded most of their talent away and are getting ready for a bunch of great picks in next year's draft.  Many of the remaining players believe the team is so bad that they have asked their agents to get them traded out of town.  One of these players is Minkah Fitzpatrick, last years' first round draft pick.  The Dolphins have given him permission to seek a trade partner.  But he is part of coach Brian Flores' rebuild.  If the team gives up last year's top pick they are losing another year in the rebuild process.  They should keep him and hope for a great draft in April.  In the meantime, Flores needs to hold his locker room together for 15 more weeks.  That's a tall order for a rookie head coach.
