Elliott Won't Get Full Workload Week 1

Ezekiel Elliott is finally back with the Cowboys after signing a 6-year, $90 million contract extension on Wednesday. But the team won't be giving Zeke a full workload right away.

According to NFL Network's Jane Slater, the team plans to use Elliott for about '20-25' snaps in their Week 1 game against the Giants. Rookie Tony Pollard and fullback Jamize Olawale will carry the rest of the load.

Last season, Elliott averaged about 50-60 snaps per game and was on the field about 90 percent of the time, second only to the Panthers' Christian McCaffrey.
