Pac-12 Says No 9 AM Kickoffs This Year

Pac-12 players can sleep in a little later during the season, with a conference spokesman confirming Wednesday that there will be no 9 am kickoffs.

While the schools and sports networks are interested in the early West Coast start, Andrew Walker, the vice president for public affairs, says they "need more time to plan properly."

According to commissioner Larry Scott, fans have been growing upset with games going into the late-night. He also admits that the change could open up the Pac-12 to new markets.

Walker reveals they will revisit the idea in 2020.
