Giancarlo Stanton Will Still Be Out For A While

The Yankees’ injury woes just won’t go away. On Monday, the team transferred Giancarlo Stanton to the 60-Day Injured List as he continues to recover from a knee sprain.

The move means Stanton will not be eligible to return until August 25th, but he’ll likely be out until September at least.

Last week, the 29-year-old slugger resumed ‘light baseball activity’, including throwing and hitting from a tee.
