Steven Jackson Signs One-Day Contract To Retire With Rams

While Steven Jackson hasn't taken the field in an NFL game since 2015, he only just hung up his cleats on Monday.

The former running back, who spent nine seasons with the Rams, signed a one-day contract to retire officially as a member of the team.

Los Angeles shared a piece by Rams insider Myles Simmons on their Twitter, who writes, "It's fitting for someone who has meant so much to the franchise."

Jackson, who was drafted by the Rams in 2004, stands as their all-time leading rusher, racking up 10,138 yards over 131 games.
