Miami Dolphins Kendrick Norton Reportedly Has Arm Amputated

Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Kendrick Norton was in a horrific accident Thursday morning, and lost an arm in the crash.

The crash occurred just after 1 AM on State Road 836 in Miami. His truck struck a concrete barrier wall and flipped over.

The Heavy 1 was not brought to the scene because fire and rescue were able to free Kendrick and rush him to a nearby hospital. A female companion was also taken to the hospital. Kendrick’s condition is reportedly “non-life-threatening,” according to TMZ.

During the Police dispatch audio, the first responder suggests his arm was pinned underneath the truck. Part of the police dispatch audio suggests the arm may have been severed at the scene ... you hear the operator say, "Cannot reach the amputator [or amputated] arm."

Norton's coach at the University of Miami, Manny Diaz, sent out his prayers on Twitter on Thursday morning.

Norton was selected in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers, and the Dolphins signed him off the Panthers' practice squad in December. He was expected to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster this season.
