Warriors Will Retire No. 35

As the jerseys are given out to the new crop of Warriors players, one number will not be featured.

According to the team, they will retire Kevin Durant's No. 35, for at least as long as Joe Lacob is in charge.

Noting that the Nets bound forward, "carried himself with class and dignity both on and off the court," Golden State's co-chairman and CEO thanked Durant for what he brought them in his three years with Oakland.

"He provided our fans and franchise with numerous highlights during his stay here -- two NBA championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, three trips to the Finals, unparalleled efficiency," said Lacob.
