The #Flyers have acquired defenseman Justin Braun from San Jose in exchange for a second-round pick in this year's draft (41st overall) and a third-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
The San Jose Sharks have traded defensemen Justin Braun to Philadelphia for a 2019 second-round draft selection and a 2020 third-round selection, according to General Manager Doug Wilson.
That clears $3.8 million for the Sharks. They need the money after signing Erik Karlsson to an eight-year extension worth around $92 million!
Braun had played in 84 Stanley Cup playoff games with San Jose, with 13 points. He holds second place in the most played playoff games as defensemen for the franchise.
