Suffering from severe dehydration has led NASCAR veteran Kasey Kahne to call it quits for the remainder of the season.

It could also be the end of his stock car driving career. Kahne had already recently announced that he wouldn't be racing regularly in NASCAR next season. The 38-year-old Kahne has missed the last five races as he works with doctors to try and figure out why he has been dehydrated. As of yet, no explanation has been given. Kahne has 18 Cup wins and 93 top-5s in 529 career starts.
