Hackers Are Changing Instagram Users Profile Pictures To Disney Characters
Social media users beware: There’s a bizarre new hack on Instagram.
According to Mashable, a small number of users have recently noticed unusual activity with their account.
Upon opening the app, the users are reporting they are not logged in.
After attempting to login to their account, the users are being alerted that their account doesn’t exist.
It appears a hacker is gaining access to their account and changing their information, such as their username, phone number, and email address associated with the account.
What’s more, the hacker is changing users profile photos to a photo of a disney character.
Instagram has addressed the issue on Twitter, but users are concerned the issue will become more widespread in the days ahead.

After Instagram released the statement on Twitter, several people commented that the instructions provided to them were not helpful.
