He got off to a good start as a rookie in Philadelphia, but after that it's been all downhill for big man Jahlil Okafor.
He's hoping a change of scenery will fix things. The New Orleans Pelicans have signed to a one-year deal for Okafor to join the team.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that that Okafor's deal is partially guaranteed for next season and has a team option for 2019-20.
Okafor became expendable after the rise of Joel Embiid. He appeared in just two games for Philadelphia last season before he was dealt to the Nets.
