A cruise ship that departed the United States has several ill passengers on board.
KTOO is reporting more than 70 people have come down with the norovirus while on the Holland America cruise ship.
The ship, which departed Seattle, is currently in Alaska.
Around two thousand people are said to be on the ship as it makes its way to several destinations in Alaska.
Precautions are being taken to help prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus, which causes vomiting and diarrhea.
The cruise is scheduled to arrive back in Seattle on July 2.
