Two deputies in Florida were shot and killed while dining at a restaurant earlier today.
The incident occurred at around 3 p.m. in Trenton, Florida.
The suspect allegedly shot through a window and aimed at the officers who were dining inside.
According to Fox 51, both officers died as a result of the injuries they sustained.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they located the suspect dead on the ground outside the restaurant.
It is not clear at this time if he died from a self-inflicted bullet wound, or if either of the officers returned fire after being ambushed.
Police remain on scene and are still investigating the shooting.
